Manufacturing Energy Awareness Event
Invest NI is holding an Energy Awareness event for businesses involved in Manufacturing.
This tailored event will focus on issues surrounding the NI Electricity Grid, the challenges businesses face, such as costs and potential timeframes for Electricity Grid upgrades and barriers to investment for renewable technologies - to possible solutions such as offering advice on assessing existing demand profile and advising on off-Grid generation solutions.
The event will also look at Energy Efficiency – promoting opportunities for cost savings and highlighting areas such as Energy Monitoring and Measurement, Energy Benchmarking, Compressed air systems, Boilers and the Effect of Energy Efficiency on Climate Change Levy / Carbon Commitments.
Other partners involved in delivering Invest NI’s Sustainable Development Support Programme will showcase support available and attendees will also have the opportunity to hear first-hand from local companies how support and help in these areas can make a difference to your business.
Technical Advisors from Invest NI’s Sustainable Development Team will also be on hand to offer advice on consultancy and financial support available.
